Miami entered this series coming off a clean sweep at home against the Chicago Cubs. The Atlanta Braves entered the series with a weekend series win against the New York Mets.

Elder was sensational shutting down Alcantara as well as the Marlins offense only letting up three hits with the Braves 6-0 victory.

Game 2: Marlins 6-14 Braves

Braxton Garrett vs Kyle Wright

Marcell Ozuna punishes his former team with a two-run homer along with the 5 other homers the Braves hit to defeat the Marlins 14-6.

Game 3: Marlins 3-6 Braves

Jesus Luzardo vs Dylan Dodd

Ozuna homers for a third time in two games meanwhile Acuna Jr steals his 15th base which leads the league. Atlanta completes the series sweep of Miami with the 6-3 victory.
