The Miami Marlins sign Yuli Gurriel
Free agent Yuli Gurriel has signed with the Miami Marlins.
Gurriel will join Miami after several seasons with the Houston Astros were he won two World Series titles as well as a gold glove and batting title.

Gurriel, who is a Cuban native will draw more people to loanDepot Park because of the large Cuban community in Miami.
The Marlins will have to shift various of players around the field in order to fit Gurriel with the possibility of moving Garrett Cooper who was slated for the first base position to DH to accommodate the new signing.
Miami fans and the Marlins organization hope that Gurriel will be the 2017 and 2019 version of himself as the 2023 season approaches.
