 UFC 287 is heading to Miami 





This morning UFC President Dana White announced upcoming events and fight cards including locations for 2023. Just recently announced that Miami native Jorge Masvidal would be back in the octagon facing off against Gilbert Burns. White announced that the fight will take place on April 8th at the Miami-Dade Arena in Miami, Florida as co-main event. 




UFC 287 Card:

Main Event- Alex Pereira vs Israel Adesanya 
Co-Main Event- Gilbert Burns vs Jorge Masvidal 
Welterweight- Kevin Holland vs Santiago Ponzinibbio 
Bantamweight- Raul Rosas Jr vs Christian Rodriguez 
Bantamweight- Rob Font vs Adrian Yanez
Middleweight- Gerald Meerschaert vs Joe Pyfer 




Other notable announcements made by White:

The UFC has signed both Jon Jones and Sean O'Malley to an eight fight deal. Jones will headline UFC 285 in Las Vegas taking on Ciryl Gane for the heavyweight title. 

Kamaru Usman will rematch Leon Edwards for the welterweight title headlining UFC 286 in London.


The biggest news of them all is that Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler will be the two coaches for season 31 of The Ultimate Fighter. At the end of the season both McGregor and Chandler will square off in the octagon with location and date to be determined but expect it by the end of 2023.
