Miami Dolphins vs Detroit Lions
The Detroit Lions (1-6) showed out on offense with 326 yards of total offense against the Miami Dolphins. It was the first time the Lions had been in the end zone since week four against the Seattle Seahawks.
In the first half many Miami Dolphin fans were shaking their heads and thinking are we about to lose to a 1-5 Lions team. Detroit entered the second half with just 67 yards of offense and no points which allowed Miami to get into the game.
The second half started with a fumble which was followed by five consecutive Dolphin scores. Miami would proceed to earn 476 yards in total offense.
It seems like Miami has been perfect with Tua Tagavailoa at the helm and only leaves the mind to wonder what could have been if he didn't get injured.
Tagavailoa would hit Jaylen Waddle twice to make it 27-17 followed by a Alec Ingold run to make it 27-24. The end for the Lions would be Tua hitting his TE Mike Gesicki for 11-yards to take the lead 31-24. The Lions would get a score before the end of the game grabbing a FG to make it 31-27.
This is the second time the Dolphins mount an incredible comeback with the first being earlier in the season against the Baltimore Ravens. Miami improves to 5-3 on the season.
Next up for the Miami Dolphins is a road trip to Soldier Field to face the Chicago Bears.
