The Miami FC vs San Antonio FC

Western Conference foes San Antonio FC payed a visit to FIU Stadium this past weekend to take on The Miami FC. The negative is that Miami lost 2-0 but the positive is that the South Florida side remains in 6th place in the Eastern Conference. For the first time this season, Miami played forwards Kyle Murphy and Romeo Parkes up top together.

Miami had two chances in the first half coming in the 14th and 21st minute with both chances coming from Valot but was not able to capitalize. The Texas side would find the back of the net right before halftime in the 42nd minute with a goal from Deshane Beckford to make it 1-0. Miami controlled possession in which we know in soccer that doesn't matter. San Antonio was more threatening on the attack in the 18-yard box as well as leading Miami in shot attempts.

The second half wouldn't really bring much change with Miami struggling to find creativity and a way to get through San Antonio's defense. The western powerhouse would find a counter attack which resulted into producing a penalty. Mitchell Taintor would make it 2-0 from the spot for San Antonio FC sending them home with +3.

The Miami FC will play Detroit City at home in a midweek match up.
