The Miami FC vs Memphis 901

Coming into this road match for The Miami FC, they were looking to get back on track after a defeat last weekend. On the other hand you have Memphis 901 who were currently on a five-game winning streak.

Took no time in Tennessee to open scoring as Kyle Murphy scores one within the first 10 minutes to put Miami up 1-0. The next one wouldn't be far away as Pierre Da Silva would make it 2-0 for the South Florida side in the 11th minute. This was a homecoming for both Da Silva and Murphy as both played for Memphis 901.

Nothing really threatened Miami GK Connor Sparrow until the 57th minute after Chris Allan takes a shot and strikes the crossbar. Sparrow would save his side once again in the 72nd minute off of a free kick that would give Memphis a corner after the save. Sparrow would be beat in the 76th minute with a shot outside the box from Laurent Kissiedou to make it a 2-1 match. Miami would have chances in the 88th and 89th to extend the lead both from Parkes but would have both of them denied.

This would end the match 2-1 breaking Memphis 901 winning streak and putting Miami back in the win column heading back home with +3.

The Miami FC will be on the road for a midweek match up against Birmingham Legion.
