Monaco Grand Prix

 Monaco Grand Prix

The iconic Monaco Grand Prix was back this weekend with defending champion Max Verstappen looking to repeat and take another dive in the famous pool. The race was delayed an hour and 15 minutes due to the rain as this decision was made after two formation laps behind the safety car the prompted the red flag. The big race did not complete all 77 laps due to a two-hour time constraint which would mark the final lap once the clock hit zero. It was looking like it was going to be a fantastic day for Ferrari but a horrible box strategy allowed Red Bull to take the lead of the race.

Let's take a look at how things turned out in Monaco:

Qualifying:

1. Charles Leclerc- Ferrari

2. Carlos Sainz- Ferrari

3. Sergio Perez- Red Bull

4. Max Verstappen- Red Bull

5. Lando Norris- McClaren

Final Results:

1. Sergio Perez- Red Bull

2. Carlos Sainz- Ferrari

3. Max Verstappen- Red Bull

4. Charles Leclerc- Ferrari

5. George Russell- Mercedes

Both Max Verstappen and Red Bull widen their gap in the standings over Charles Leclerc and Ferrari. They will race next on June 12th from Azerbaijan.
