Miami Grand Prix
It was a historic weekend in the city of Miami with the inaugural Miami Grand Prix which was hosted at Hard Rock Stadium. Teams and fans flocked from all over the world to see an event that was wanted by most in the sport of Formula One. There was many activation events for fans to enjoy from Wynwood, Design District, and Miami Beach including team parties at various nightclubs across the city. The weekend long event was hosted Miami style.
It was a great day for Red Bull racing who's driver Max Verstappen would take the lead over from Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and never looked back. Leclerc did put pressure for several of the ending laps but was never able to catch up to Verstappen. The Dutchman would take home the checkered flag and sit first in the podium facing the South Florida crowd. It was a pretty clean race with only one real incident happening towards the end of the race where Lando Norris would lose a tire and spin after he made contact with Sebastian Ocon. Let's take a look at how this race started and how it finished.
