Formula 1 announces extension of the United States Grand Prix through 2034



It was time to go racing in Austin, Texas at the Circuit of the Americas which was renewed all the way to 2034. It was an interesting weekend in Austin with Max Verstappen taking the sprint race with both McLaren's involved in a crash on the very first turn and lap of the race. Verstappen would also take pole as he continues to put pressure on Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris in the world championship. In the actual race it was all Verstappen from beginning to end. It was a good weekend for Ferrari with Charles Leclerc getting on the podium for the first time in five races. Carlos Sainz who was having a good weekend crashed his Williams into the back of Kimi Antonelli and had to retire the car.
