What was a crazy first two weeks for the University of South Florida, having destroyed #25 Boise State and then upsetting the #13 Florida Gators in the Swamp, they now will face the biggest obstacle in their schedule, #5 The Miami Hurricanes. The Miami Hurricanes on the other hand have looked great on both sides of the game. Miami has fixed the majority of the communication issues on the defensive backfield due to their new defensive coordinator, Corey Hetherman, plus the multitude of recruiting and portal additions.
Heading into this game, everyone was raving about how impressive USF had looked thus far and how aggressive they play on both sides. College football fans were anticipating a physical matchup, but it ended up the opposite. The Miami Hurricanes just abused the USF Bulls the entire game.
MIAMI WINS 49-12.

Miami the more dominant team showed why they are the #5 ranked team in the nation and the favorites currently to conquer the ACC. If I were to be highly critical on these Hurricanes I would say they need to fix those false starts and improve the communication between the defensive backs when a QB scrambles.
Head Coach of USF, Alex Golesh, has brought this program so far to the point where they have been able to compete with strong opponents. He has impressed me the most and now, they've landed a 2027 QB commit from Miami, FL, James Perrone.
The Hurricanes will face the Florida Gators next at Hard Rock Stadium @7:30pm. College Game Day will be in the 305 for this in-state rivalry matchup. Miami defeated Florida 41-17 last year in the Swamp and QB DJ Lagway will look to make a comeback after that atrocious loss and performance vs LSU with 5 interceptions. Miami will have to handle business at home so they can spend their BYE WEEK getting ready for #7 Florida State in Tallahassee on October 4th.
