Dolphins Close the Curtain on Preseason

Dolphins Close the Curtain on Preseason

We have concluded the final week of the NFL preseason and next up is the 2025-2026 season that is very anticipated for the Miami Dolphins. This will be a crucial year depending on results if the Dolphins organization decides to scrap the Mike McDaniels project or at least put him on the hot seat. It will also be a test for franchise QB Tua Tagovailoa who has faced his own health challenges leaving many question marks. We will see if the relationship between Tagovailoa and WR Tyreek Hill will impact chemistry and play on the field. The Dolphins this week made its roster cuts as they head into week one of the season.

The Dolphins closed out the preseason welcoming the Jacksonville Jaguars to Hard Rock Stadium where the Dolphins defeated the Jaguars 14-6. Tagovailoa was involved in his only preseason action throwing a touchdown for 25-yards and being sacked twice. That touchdown was a connection with Malik Washington followed by a touchdown run by Mike Boone for seven yards. The Jaguars got on the board through Cam Little who nailed filed goals from 59 and 43.
