Four Games Unbeaten for The Miami FC

Four Games Unbeaten for The Miami FC

It was a rough start to the season for The Miami FC opening up with a four-game losing streak sitting at the bottom of the Eastern Conference but has really found a switch. Under a new head coach with Gaston Maddoni trying to right the ship after a terrible season last year. It wasn't looking good at the start and looking to be a repeat of last season but have showed some signs of being hard to beat.

It all started with the U.S. Open Cup second round facing Inter Miami CF II where Miami FC was able to squeak on by with a lonesome goal by Francisco Bonfiglio late at the 84th minute. They would defeat the Herons 1-0 to advance to the next round. The run of form in league play would follow on the road visiting San Antonio FC with Bonfiglio once again providing the winning goal defeating San Antonio 2-1.

At Pitbull Stadium the streak would continue with a 2-1 victory over North Carolina FC  with Bonfiglio getting on the board as well as Daltyn Knuston. It was a rivalry win over the Tampa Bay Rowdies in the USL Cup defeating the Rowdies on penalties. The South Florida side would travel out west to face Monterey Bay FC down late 1-0 the away side were able to find an equalizing goal by Bonfiglio in minute 87 to come away with a 1-1 draw sharing the points.

Up next for The Miami FC is a home match welcoming Loudoun United to Pitbull Stadium.
