 Miami Dolphins vs Jacksonville Jaguars

Finally the NFL season is back and another exciting season of Miami Dolphins football is back after falling in the first round of the playoffs last season to the eventual champion the Kansas City Chiefs. The day would have an interesting start with video going viral of Miami-Dade police detaining Tyreek Hill for reckless driving in which he was cited for. The video shows Hill face down in handcuffs with many teammates stopping to see what was the issue. Miami would welcome in fellow sunshine state rivals the Jacksonville Jaguars to Hard Rock Stadium.

QB Tua Tagavailoa would throw for 336 yards and one touchdown on the opening game of the season. He was extremely important in the final two minutes of the game going on an eight-play drive down field. Tyreek Hill would finish the day with seven catches for 130 yards and would start the comeback with a 80-yard touchdown. Devon Achane put up seven catches for 75 yards and would run for 25 yards with one touchdown on 10 carries.

One of the best kickers in the league Jason Sanders would tie the game from 36 with just four minutes remaining in the game. From there on it was all the Miami defense sacking Trevor Lawerence multiple times setting up the final drive. The Jaguars would've ended the game but a strip fumble at the goal line that saw Miami get the ball back gave the Dolphins hope.

Jaylen Waddle would go for five receptions on 109 yards which included a 63-yard catch setting his team up in the red zone down by 10. On the game winning drive it would be once again Sanders coming to the rescue knocking one through from 52 to give the Dolphins the 20-17 victory starting the season 1-0 just narrowly escaping the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Up next for the Miami Dolphins is a home game welcoming the Buffalo Bills to Hard Rock Stadium for Thursday Night Football.
