Miami Heat vs Los Angeles Lakers

Miami Heat vs Los Angeles Lakers

It's always a special occasion when LeBron James visits the Kasaya Center as so many memories pop into the minds of Heat fans. On the other hand, Miami fans also enjoy when their beloved team defeats King James to remind that Miami is still better than anywhere he will go. The Heat had a chance to stay in the win column as they welcomed the Los Angeles Lakers.

To be able to beat the Lakers or any LeBron James team its going to take every man on the court to step up and do their job. That's exactly what Bam Adebayo and Kyle Lowry did for Miami on Monday night as the Heat search for win #3.

Adebayo would make history as he had the first ever 20-rebound triple double in Miami Heat franchise history. Jimmy Butler would pair that with 28 points and should I add that both teams were scoreless for the last 2:38 of the game. Tyler Herro would tack on with 22 of his own followed by Duncan Robinson who would put up 12.

James would be the top scorer in the game with 30 points with help from Austin Reaves just shy of a triple double scoring 23 points with 10 rebounds and 9 assists. Anthony Davis was missed for the last 15 minutes as he exited the game with an injury which was uncovered to be a left hip spasm.

Another blow for Los Angeles was guard D'Angelo Russell being ejected in the 4th quarter after a pair of technicals for arguing with the referees. Rookie Jaime Jaquez Jr would come up with clutch back-to-back layups that would help the Heat secure the 108-107 victory over the Lakers.

Next up for the Miami Heat is a road trip visiting the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday.
