The Miami FC vs Loudoun United

The Miami FC vs Loudoun United

The winless streak for The Miami FC continues as they've fallen to 11th in the Eastern Conference. That is the second worst record in the conference next to Hartford Athletic. They welcomed in Loudoun United who currently sit in the final playoff spot in the conference.

Scoring opened in the 35th minute after a highly one sided 30 minutes favoring the road team. Miami would concede a penalty giving United the 1-0 lead.

That wouldn't be all for United in the first half as Jackson Hopkins would double the lead to 2-0 heading into the dressing room after a full 45.

Miami would show some fight at the beginning of the second half with Christian Sorto scoring a free kick to make it a 2-1 match at the 57th minute.

Unfortunately for the home side the streak continues as the visiting Loudoun United entered and took the +3. Miami will need to start bringing in results if they want to make it back to the playoffs before the ship sets sail.

Next up for The Miami FC is a road trip out west visiting Monterey Bay FC.
