Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
All eyes were on the Yas Marina Circuit on Sunday evening as the 2022 Formula 1 campaign would come to an end. Many storylines will go with us from this race into the offseason with the futures of Daniel Ricciardo, Mick Schumacher, Pierre Gasly, Fernando Alonso, the punishment of Red Bull, and of course this being the final race of Sebastian Vettel. Mercedes spent the day trying to catch the pace of Ferrari as they wanted to end the season in front of the Italian team in the standings but did not happen especially with a Lewis Hamilton retirement late in the race. Sergio Perez wanted to end the season #2 but could not catch Charles Leclerc. For Max Verstappen it was all over from the beginning with nobody challenging him earning his 35th career victory. Let's take a look at how things faired in Abu Dhabi.
Qualifying:
1. Max Verstappen- Red Bull
2. Sergio Perez- Red Bull
3. Charles Leclerc- Ferrari
4. Carlos Sainz- Ferrari
5. Lewis Hamilton- Mercedes
Final Results:
1. Max Verstappen- Red Bull

It was a dominant season for Red Bull as well as a repeat championship in the constructors and drivers table. We look forward to covering the 2023 season.
