The Miami FC vs FC Tulsa
The Miami FC was back on the road Saturday night evading in what was a raining weekend in South Florida due to Tropical Storm Alex. Tulsa is currently dealing with hardship as well so hopefully this match brought 90 minuted of distraction/joy to fans away from unrelated soccer matters.
This match was off to a fast start with Tulsa striking for goal in the first minute but denied by Connor Sparrow. Miami would respond in the seventh minute with a strike of their own from Adonijah Reid who tried to sneak it in but was denied by Austin Wormell. They would rack up the chances in the first have with opportunities coming in the 29th, 34th, and 43rd but would all be denied sending both teams to the dressing room knotted up 0-0.
The second half wouldn't be any different except this time FC Tulsa had their go at Sparrow putting him under pressure. Chances arrived in the 61st and 75th minute of the match but would either be saved by Sparrow or missed just wide.
The match would end in a 0-0 draw with both teams sharing the points in their first meeting of the season. This is now Miami FC's 5th draw of the season and most fans would like to see them capitalize on these opportunities.
Next up for Miami will be a home match in a midweek match up against Indy Eleven.
