BRING ON THE HEAT
The Miami Heat remain first in the Eastern conference tied with the Chicago Bulls as they enter the A, despite a loss against the Mavericks on Tuesday evening. The team came back with resilience as they turned up the heat going up against the Charlotte Hornets with a final 111-107 in not one but double overtime.
A big night for trio Kyle Lowry, Bam Adebayo, and Jimmy Butler, as they were the game leader in points, rebounds, and assists, in that order. Lowry led with 25 points and served up 12 of those points post regulation. Adebayo with 13 rebounds, showed his zeal during the last few mins of the fourth quarter with a powerful block off LaMelo Ball’s 8-foot driving layup. Butler led with eight assists last night. With a comeback during overtime the MVP prospect had a nice swoosh of a 26 foot three point jumper with nearly 30 seconds left in the second overtime. A critical shot to distract from the not-so-hot stats.
Jimmy Butler for Team Lebron, the only Heat player representing Miami in Cleveland this Sunday night. Coach Erik Spoelstra is leading Team Durant this weekend as well.
